I, Nisha Banginwar, am the founder of Natraj Dance Studio located in Edison, New Jersey. I founded the dance school in 2003. I have two lovely daughters – one is pursuing Medicine and the other one is in High School. My love of dancing goes all the way back to my childhood, and I am trained in various dance styles including Classical and Western.

My journey as a dance teacher began in 2003, when I joined Marathi Vishwa in NJ and started choreographing for cultural events. In the same year, I started my dance school. It has been 14 years since, and over the years my students have participated in many cultural programs and competitions, achieving many awards including “People’s Choice”, “First Place”, “Best Choreography” and many more. My students have performed in events and competitions such as BMM, Naya Andaz, FIA, CIO, Zee India, India Fair, and various others. My School offers students a 7 year certification course, at the end of which they get awarded a diploma for the successful completion of the course, and their dedication and commitment to dance.

I truly enjoy sharing my love for dance, and in return have received a lot of love and respect. This past June, all five of my dance groups won first place in the N.I.C.E. dance competition. On other occasions, I have also served as a Judge for competitions like N.I.C.E., Indian American Festival (Bridgewater) Dance Competition, and Hindi USA. I was honored with an award of appreciation for my work and achievements on International Women’s Day.
